LIGHTING UP NEVADA YELLOW

Nevada is joining the national movement to illuminate America in yellow on January 27 in observance of International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The state’s participation helps expand awareness and underscores the importance of remembrance throughout the region.

As additional locations become involved, Nevada continues to support Holocaust education and the fight against antisemitism. We invite cities, institutions, and landmarks across the state to join the initiative. Please contact the coalition if your Nevada location would like to participate.

The iconic Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada sign illuminated in yellow, bringing a powerful message of remembrance to one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. Its highly visible display helped extend Holocaust remembrance and education to millions of visitors and residents in Las Vegas.

Our gratitude for arranging the "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign to be lit up in yellow goes to Elliot Malin, Chair, Nevada Governor's Advisory Council on Education Relating to the Holocaust, Stefanie Tuzman, President and CEO of Jewish Nevada, Andrew Spivak, Director of Communications and Content , and their entire staff of professionals.
